In an effort to educate cancer patients about their rights to quality care inspite of living in a third world country, Belize will celebrate its 3rd World Hospice and Palliative Care Day on 11th October 2008 at the Memorial Park in Belize City. Cancer patients, family members of loved ones who have succumbed to this disease, friends and health care personel will meet to celebrate their life.
This will commence at 1pm with a prayer said by Pastor Ruperto Vicente, then theme song played (When my life is over)
Welcome Address will be deliered by : Dr. Khalid Ghazy (Director of Medical Services of Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital)
